Resilience Matters

"When I experience a set-back I will be resilient. "  - Jon Gordon

Could not have said that better myself, we all experience set-backs in our lives, it is all a matter of how we reacte to them.  Resilience and fortitude will separate you from the rest of the pack that thrive on making their habitation in the woods of negativity.  Rather than seeing the set-back as the end of the world, if we reverse the direction and treat it a a set-up for our success, our resilience will grow.  Focusing on the days ahead will prove to be a positive goal to drive towards versus hanging out with the thoughts and failures of our past.

Breaking Your Routine

Ever feel like there is just never enough?  You get up every day, drive into work, sit chained to a desk for hours on end.  You eat at your desk, wish you could sleep at your desk. The minutes tick by turning to hours of drudgery.  Five o'clock passed by a while ago yet you are still here.  When it gets time to go, there is the same boring drive home ahead of you.  You get home, eat, watch useless t.v. and start the routine all over again tomorrow.

This is not the way things were supposed to be, you were meant for more.  What happened to your dreams and aspirations?   The good news is, no matter your age, education,  or experience you can still have more and be more, and you can start today.  When you get home instead of another senseless sitcom, spend a few minutes writing down your lost goals, or maybe new ones.  Take time to focus on your dreams once again, find your passion and drive you once had.  Spend a few minutes right before bedtime to have a few moments of positive speak.  Instead of the usual dwelling on what went wrong and didn't get done, focus on what a great day to be alive and the blessings within it and how tomorrow will be bigger and better.

On the first morning of your new path, again spend a couple minutes of self affirming thoughts before you start your day. Rather than dreading the same routines as yesterday,  today is your chance to start fresh.  You may have to work your job as you prepare for your dreams for awhile.  Personally I recommend supplementing your income with other sources such as network marketing,  blogging,  affiliate marketing as well as the possibility of a part time job if needed to expedite your dreams.  Some of which if properly handled can not only supplement but also finance all your dreams if you join the right team within a growing company.

Before you know it if you follow the philosophy of helping others reach their goals as you strive for yours, the days being chained to your desk can be in your past.  In fact with the opportunity through network marketing you can develop a residual income that not only can help you reach your financial dreams, but exceed them. In turn you can make part time work into fulltime pay for you, your team and generations to come.  So take if you take a chance and do the things that others may not, you will be able to do tomorrow the things that others cannot.

Blessings. ..

You are personally invited to contact me if you would like to expedite your dreams.

Master Degree in Success

For those that don't like salepeople I have some bad news for you. We are all in the business of sales, yet we despise to be sold.  From the mother that sells the idea of keeping their room clean to her kids, to the student negotiating a better grade in school.  Maybe you are preacher selling your congregation on your homily, or the doctor prescribing treatment for your patient. The software engineer developing the next big thing, yep you guessed it you are all natural sellers.

So for those that say 'I don't want to sell' or 'I don't know how' the real truth is you do and by the way you are usually great at it.  So those that have the tainted view of direct sales because of the 'sales' word, the good news is you have half the title already mastered and didn't even know it.  So with that being said if you come across a product or service that works for you what is one of the first things you will do?  That's right you want to tell your story, share your experience with others... and yep you guessed it you have a degree in directly bringing the product or service to others.  Combine the two and you have a masters degree in direct selling without going to any other school than the one of hard knocks like everyone else.

Blessings. ..

40 Day Sprint

As we begin a new season and start 40 days of Lent, why not make it a 40 day sprint of purpose for your business?   While we focus on what we should be giving up as a sacrifice to show we are dedicated on increasing our faith, why not use the same dedication in improving your business.  A 40 day sprint of hard work, huge levels of action and marketing our business could bring about the change in course your business needs. Not often does a business owner focus on the success of their company for more than a few days in a row much less forty without taking a break.  This level of dedication can take a lackluster business to the top and build a habit of consistent action that will become unstoppable.

So while you are deciding ways to change during the next 40 days, why not try changing the way you do business, the way you handle your prospects and the way you treat your customers and team members.  Take the new focus on providing your customer what they want rather than what you are selling.  Work harder on developing the relationship with the person rather the dwelling on trying to close a sale.  Give your ego a rest, rely on the belief in what you do and allow that belief do the work for you.  Spend the next 40 days making your team, and your customers your number one priority, helping them get what they want and before you know it they will go out of their way to help you in turn.  Keep your eye on your goals for the next few weeks and once your 40 day sprint is up, re-evaluate where you are and start your next sprint towards your next set of goals.

Life on the big screen

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a movie star?  I mean imagine for a moment that your life was turned upside down and you now lived life on the big screen.  Now picture that you not only were in the film but you also were directing the show and the writer of the script.  Sounds pretty fantastic doesn't it?

As your new life as a movie star you have your choices, do you want the role of a hobbit, a smeagol?  Wouldn't it be great to be the warrior you want to be rather than always the prince.  What about the billionaire that is able to provide for your family the way today you can only dream?  How about always being able to take a beating yet always make a comeback and be the hero every time?

This all sound too good to be true, this is why we spend hours in someone else's fantasy life to escape from our own.  It does not have to be this way though, by design your life is a blank canvas you can paint your future any way you like.  Each day we are given the empty pages to write our lives out and although we cannot rewrite our past like a movie script, we do have full control on our happy ending.  So each day treat it as a new episode, rewrite your wrongs, create the life of your dreams, be the hero you were made to be.

Blessings. ..

Breaking them is a good thing!

A month has passed, resolutions more than likely broken, and we settle back into the routines we swore off a month ago. Most people would look at this with disgust, once again defeated by our own lack of will power, but is it really? Let's break it down a bit and see if this so called setback is not in fact a setup...

First .. was this resolution a tactic to make you or someone else feel better going into the new year?  If it was not a written accountable goal then the chances of success were diminished off the block.

Second.. was it treated with laser eye focus..daily?  Picture your goal 7, 15, 25, 50 yards away on the bullseye did you take aim every day to make sure you hit your mark?

Thirdly..was your support solidly based?  Did you have an accountability partner that you regularly checked in with?  If not than who was there to catch you when you slipped?

These three items are the basis of any goal or resolution.   The fantastic part about making these goals is we are not held to only New Years Eve to start anew. If we set our goals, write them down, share them with someone you trust, and keep your eye on it then today can be your New You Eve!  Make goals in small obtainable targets, where you can chip away and have measurable results.  Reward yourself for the success you are and continue to reward yourself at the bigger success you are becoming.  No matter how big or small your goal, I believe in YOU!!!!

Blessings. ..
